Life as a HUMSS student in PCU-D

As an introvert with a shy personality, picking the HUMSS strand was a humbling experience to encounter HUMSS students. Everyone has their own opinions and stories to tell. Every HUMSS student stands and fights for the humanities; we all aim to have a brighter future with good governance. Humss students are always ready for debates about social issues. Reading

Image
I love reading books as if I am the main character, feeling each chapter with emotions. In love with the aroma and scenery. Imagine and cherish each page. By reading books, I feel calm and find peace, my special place.

Music

My heart warms when I listen to music. My favorite genres are rock and metal, as their loudness clears my thoughts. However, I still listen to R&B and pop music. I tried learning acoustic guitar and drums when I was in junior high school because of my love for music. I love going to Battle of the Bands at school and also attended a concert by Yeng Constantino, Parokya ni Edgar, and Hale this year. I had so much fun; it was a great teen experience. The feeling of every beat and key gives rise to emotions and inspiration.

I am a mother of two cats, named Axel and Acer. When I'm down, they cheer me up and make me feel better. For me, taking care of cats is a huge emotional and mental support. I have a special place in my heart for cats in general, and I'm grateful to have two of them.
